Junior High
Welcome to our Junior High Ministry webpage! We appreciate that you’re checking us out online and look forward to meeting you in person. Chances are you’ll know someone who already attends our group. We have students who represent at least 10 middle schools in Nevada and Placer counties as well as a number of kids that are home schooled. If, after you’ve checked us out, you still have questions about anything related to the Junior High Ministry, feel free to e-mail me.
Our purpose is to see our Junior High School students living as disciples of Jesus Christ.
- To see them drawing closer to God in their personal relationship with Jesus
- To see them deepening their knowledge and understanding of God’s Word
- To see them demonstrating their love for God and their growing faith in Jesus with others
Our plan involves…
- Worship – our desire is to see junior high students worshiping God with both their voices and their lives. Worshiping Him is our humble service where we get to please God and give back to Him in any way we can. Our response to our Savior should be such that God is given glory in every aspect of our lives
- Word – our desire is to instruct the junior high students in the Word of God every time we meet, but also inspire them to continue their time in the Bible outside of our gatherings. The Word is our channel to getting to know our God and is the guide to living the Christian life. There is no greater tool to the Christian than the Bible and we intend on using the infallible Word of God every chance we get.
- Witness – our desire is to see junior high students existing as image bearers of Christ in the world they live in. Relationships become such an important part of life for a junior high student, and we intend to strengthen these relationships through the gospel, for the purpose of being witnesses of Jesus Christ to the world around us.
