High School

Thanks for visiting the High School Ministry webpage at Crossroads Church. We are a fellowship of high school students representing several local high schools in Nevada and Placer Counties. As you check out our website or visit one of our meetings, you’ll discover that it’s our desire to help you get to know God, learn more about His Word, and connect with other students. Although this site is the resource for all things high school, we would love to meet you in person. Get to know us at an upcoming event or visit one of our meetings.

VISION

The high school ministry of Crossroads Church exists to:

develop relationships with high school students and equip them to be followers of Jesus who seek to honor God with their entire life and live as missionaries within their culture.

VALUES

  • …Be Responsive
Worship is the only fitting response to all that God is and all He has done. The very purpose of our existence is to worship Him. Therefore it is our desire to see students live in a way that brings Him glory through their lives at school, at home, in the church, and in the community.
  • …Be Receptive
We seek to be ready to receive the whole counsel of God as it is found in the Bible. The scriptures reveal God’s true nature, inspire worship, and equip us for ministry. We believe the Bible is relevant for today and is the final authority for our lives. Therefore we value the study and personal application of God’s Word.
  • …Be Relational God has not created us to live independently but as a body of believers functioning in interdependent relationship with one another. Relationships are a big part of high school. It is our desire to strengthen our relationship with each other and God for the purpose of edification and evangelism.
