Pathfinder Series

The PathFinder Series are courses on various topics designed to provide Biblical direction for daily living. Courses will begin on Sunday, October 5, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and continue through Sunday, November 9 (six weeks). This series will offer four different course options: Parenting is Heart Work!, Managing Finances God’s Way, Marriage Matters: Marriage Check-Up, and Recovering Life. A brief description of each course is provided. [Note: Childcare will be provided.]

Parenting is Heart Work!

This six week video series provides practical strategies for the most common problems in family life. Topics that will be addressed include:

Teaching kids to listen and follow instructions
Reaching deep into a child’s heart
Correction ideas that touch the heart
A toolbox of consequences
Ending discipline time with impact
Teaching children to accept “no” as an answer
Attitude: A window into a child’s heart
How to start connecting with the heart

Managing Finances God’s Way

The Bible is packed with wise counsel about your financial life. “Managing Finances God’s Way” is a video-based course designed to study biblical financial management in a small group setting. Small group discussions follow each video session. The cost of the program is $13 per person / $26 per couple which includes a detailed workbook and a resource CD to help with your financial planning.

Marriage Matters: A Marriage “Check-Up”

Is it time for you and your spouse to have a marital check up? If you’re thinking “What’s a marital checkup?” then you’re overdue! Every couple, no matter how long they’ve been married, should have a regular martial checkup. It can be one of the most important things you do for your marriage. Come join us as we cover the basics of maintaining a good marriage relationship including topics like communication, conflict resolution and intimacy.

Recovering Life

Addictions, compulsions, anxiety and depression are common human experiences – even among those who have faith in Jesus Christ. Recovering Life will provide practical biblical guidance and small group support to help those dealing with these issues.
