The PATHFINDER SERIES are courses on various topics intended to provide Biblical direction for daily living. Courses will begin on Sunday, March 1, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. and continue through Sunday, April 5 (six weeks). This series will offer three different course options: “Practical Theology: What We Believe”, “Practical Advice for Tough Economic Times”, and “Marriage Matters: A Marriage Check-Up”. A brief description of each course is provided. [Note: Childcare is offered]

This class is designed for those who consider Crossroads Church their church home as well as those who want to learn more about who we are. For many, words like ‘theology’ or ‘doctrine’ are tied to images of dry and boring teachings that hold little relevance to daily life. This class will explore the fundamental issues of Biblical theology in a manner that connects these essential truths with practical Christian living. This class also serves as an overview of the Biblical foundations from which Crossroads’ theology and ministry principles are derived. Topics will include:

· The Scriptures and God

· Creation and Sin

· Salvation

· The Church

· Stewardship

· The Future

PRACTICAL ADVICE FOR TOUGH ECONOMIC TIMES

A very practical, needs-based, course designed to help people who are unemployed, underemployed, threatened with unemployment, or struggling financially. Open to everyone in the community (churched and unchurched). The information presented will be scriptural in principal but the course will be more practical application than traditional bible study. MARRIAGE MATTERS: A MARRIAGE CHECK-UP

Is it time for you and your spouse to have a marital check-up? If you’re thinking, “What’s a marital check-up?” then you’re probably overdue! Every couple, no matter how long they’ve been married, should have a regular marriage check-up. It can be one of the most important things you do for your marriage. Come join us as we cover the basics of maintaining a good marriage relationship including topics like communication, conflict resolution, and intimacy. Class time includes lectures and small group discussions about issues that confront all married couples. Homework assignments will also be provided for couples to practice the critical skills necessary to having a successful marriage.
