If you regularly attend Crossroads Church – you’ve probably noticed that the church is growing. It’s an exciting time as we observe God working in so many people’s lives! But it’s also evident our facilities are no longer sufficient to accommodate the needs of our fellowship. Anticipating this situation, church leadership initiated the process of developing a master site plan for Crossroads Church. We’re pleased to report that we have completed this plan and are ready to submit it to Nevada County for review/approval.
The plan is designed to be implemented in three phases.
PHASE ONE primarily addresses infrastructure issues including site grading/excavation, expansion of the parking lot, addition of pedestrian walkways and outdoor gathering places, and upgrading of water system.
View Phase One
PHASE TWO includes most of the major construction and renovation of the current facilities. Completion of the parking and traffic system is also included in this phase.
PHASE THREE involves the addition of a gymnasium to the complex.
Each phase of the plan has been purposefully designed to stand alone as a completed project. When Phase One is finished, the most pressing issues currently facing the church (parking and water service) will have been addressed. At that point, the feasibility of moving on to Phase Two will then be evaluated and determined.
The following Q&A presents the main facts and features involved in Phase One. If you have any other questions about the project, please contact Tim Weeks at tim@crossroadslive.com.
