I applaud Mr. Hume for his spirit of courage. God has delivered us from a Spirit of fear! When I see the hope of the gospel being shared in these mainstream media centers I get chills of excitement down my spine. I pray that God will continue to bless his boldness and I pray that Tiger would be saved! Thanks Todd for posting this video. Paul

Brit's older son Sandy committed suicide awhile back...it affected him deeply. He is a regular bible study goer. Here is his statement...

"I want to pursue my faith more ardently than I have done. I'm not claiming it's impossible to do when you work in this business. I was kind of a nominal Christian for the longest time. When my son died, I came to Christ in a way that was very meaningful to me. If a person is a Christian and tries to face up to the implications of what you say you believe, it's a pretty big thing. If you do it part time, you're not really living it."

Often times, a life jolt makes us realize where we stand. Brit is now taking a stand.

Mr. Hume was on Glenn Beck's show today. Beck asked him, if he would retract his statement in any way. Of course he said NO. But, was a little surprised of all the back lash from the media. He expected some, but not that much. Mr. Hume felt very strongly about Tiger becoming a Christian, and what a statement it would be for world. Also, for Tiger to know that he was forgiven. These are not exactly Mr. Hume's words, but close. We all should be very proud of Mr. Hume, for standing up for what he believes, and pray for him. Lovely man.
Blessings... :)

USA Today had a long editorial today that basically defended Buddhism and accused Brit Hume of being ignorant regarding that religion. Read it to get a sense of how up-in-arms the media gets when Jesus is brought into the picture.

And speaking of that, should Rick Warren have given a prayer at the Obama inauguration..... oh, wait - I think we already beat that one up pretty bad.
