Praying for the men’s retreat
November 20th, 2009 by Todd JohnsonI am regrettably & finally dealing with this sickness stuff that has been running through our family for the past couple of weeks. So I’m home for the weekend rather than up at the retreat with the men. I am committed to praying much over the next 36 hours for God to work in the lives of every man attending. Would you join with me in praying faithfully over the weekend?!
Let’s pray for:
1. Safe travel in this storm
2. Rich Chaffin and his teaching
3. Receptive and plyable hearts
4. Honesty and transparency in the men
5. A worshipful atmosphere
6. New Creations coming home to church and family
7. God to be honored above all

Praying Todd…God has a way of rearranging things.
Will by praying. That the Holy Spirit will touch every man their in the deepest part of his heart, soul and spirit.
Sorry to hear you all have been sick.
And, every word that comes from Rich Chaffin mouth, will be a blessings.
Get well soon.
will be praying about that too.
Blessings..
My hope is for prayers for those who could not attend, for whatever reason. My husband could not attend due to a chronically ill wife that he can’t even leave by herself, much less leave the children. There are many men who did not come for heavy reasons such as these who desperately need prayer. Please meet all their needs according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus.”Take heart…”
Not to mention the years first real snow storm. The very elements were rising up, in rebellion it seemed, to keep the men of crossroads bound. Yet many a good man got through the travail, I hope, to edifying preaching on the call to be leaders in this generation.
I pray the men who could attend, would have the Spirit of God come alive in their hearts. That they would seek ways to lead and shepherd their allotted families and stewardship.
I also pray for the ones who could not attend. Have them be impacted by the returning men in a profound way. Stir our hearts up for good works. Make us to see the glorious face of God in Christ Jesus.
TO ALL:
I wish you a prayerful, joyful, Thanksgiving, and holiday, that blankets you, and those you love with HIS amazing grace and enduring love.
Blessing…
